I don't know why I am obsessed at the moment with the colour pink.... I go through phases of either loving or hating it. This is obviously a loving it phase.
Thought I would design a Mother's Day card using a colour combo of different shades of pastel pink.
Quite pleased with how it turned out.
This personalised card is now available to purchase in my Etsy Shop SweetpeapollysCrafts

Valentines' Day Designs
Hi everyone, 2019 started off with all my family coming down with the dreaded flu. Luckily I have managed to escape it but I've been busy looking after everyone else so not much time for creating new card designs.
Now that everyone is ok I can get back to what I love doing and I have spent the last couple of days squirrelled away in my craft room designing Valentine's Day cards for my Etsy shop SweetpeapollysCrafts.
This elephant is so cute, don't you just love his heart ears!!
Anyway thats it for today, I'll be posting some more designs in the next couple of days.

Gosh I can't believe where this year has gone. I was supposed to regularly post to my blog but somehow time has got the better of me...... I must do better.....
I have been busy with my Etsy shop Sweetpeapollyscrafts building up new personalised card designs which are now starting to be popular.
Being able to be creative and make beautiful things is so rewarding after working in banking for over 36years. Its now time to enjoy myself.
With christmas not so far away I have been making funny cracker joke christmas tags to add to my christmas presents this year you can also find them in my Etsy shop.
I've decided to keep a journal to remind me of the important things to do each day as my mind has a habit of wandering off thinking of new things to create. First I have to make one....lol.... maybe I should write that down so I don't forget!!

Hi
One of my New Years resolutions for 2018 was be be more organised with my crafts and photos... now that should be easy.... shouldn't it?
My craft room cupboard is full to overflowing and even under the bed is totally full of boxes full of paper and card scraps, bits of material and odd embellishments. I think its going to take some time to get through it all.
I have lots of hobbies and my other passion is photography and with 35,000 plus photos I think I have my work cut out.
I came across a folder with some cards that I made in 2010 and thought I would share a few with you.
Its great to reminisce and they have given me inspiration to use up some of this paper scraps and bits of ribbon and embellishments I have. Watch this space.....

Hi Crafters, what a glorious Sunday it is here in Porto, the sun is shinning, the skies are blue and its pleasantly warm which is more than I can say for the North East of England where I come from......brrrrrr comes to mind.
I have a box or two full of bits of card, designer paper and mulberry paper so I decided to try and use some of it up making Christmas cards. This Santa card is what I came up with using the bits in the box. Hope you like it.

Hello friends, welcome to my very first post.
After 2 days of rain showers here in Porto, the sun has come out and its inspired me to finally start my blog about my crafting journey.
I love all things to do with crafting and I often get waylaid when I start a project as my imagination starts to run riot. This time of year though is one of my favourites, as it means I can put my crafty ideas into making cards and gifts for my family, friends and customers, using lots of bright and sparkly things.
Here are a couple of the shoppers notepads I have been making, which are really quite easy to make. All it needs is a little bit of inspiration and imagination to create a lovely gift.
Products used:
